General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the mobile application and website "fjt" (the "App"). The provider is Enes Karakus, c/o Impressumservice Dein-Impressum, Stettiner Str. 41, 35410 Hagen ("we"). By registering for or using the App, you accept these terms.

fjt is a lifestyle and mindfulness app that produces an estimate of a "biological age" from the everyday and lifestyle data you enter (e.g. sleep, energy, stress, activity). The App is intended solely for informational and motivational purposes.

fjt is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or health service. No content in the App may be understood as a diagnosis, treatment, or recommendation for medication, supplements, or diets. You always make health-related decisions together with a qualified physician.

A user account is required for use. Use is permitted for persons aged 18 and over. You are obliged to keep your access data secret and your information up to date. You are responsible for all activities that take place through your account.

Certain features may be subject to charges. Purchases and subscriptions are processed via the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play); their terms additionally apply. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in time via the app store. Management and cancellation take place in the account settings of the respective app store.

For paid digital content, you agree that provision begins immediately after purchase. With your express consent and acknowledgment of the loss of the right of withdrawal, this right expires upon commencement of performance. The refund policies of the respective app store remain unaffected.

You undertake not to misuse the App, in particular not to post illegal content, not to circumvent security mechanisms, and not to use the App in a way that impairs its operation.

We grant you a simple, non-transferable right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights to the App, its content, and trademarks remain with us or the respective rights holders.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body, or health. In the case of simple negligence, we are only liable for the breach of material contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise, liability is excluded.

We strive for high availability of the App but cannot guarantee it without interruption. We reserve the right to further develop, change, or discontinue features. We will notify you of changes to these terms in good time.

You can delete the free user account at any time via the settings. Paid subscriptions end at the expiry of the respective booked period after cancellation via the app store.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. If you have questions, you can reach us at mail@getfjt.com.
